Safe Social Networking Sites for Primary Pupils

The following are some social networking sites which have suitable content and systems in place, making them suitable for Primary age pupils.

	CBBC (6-12 years) A funpacked and informative website for children of primary age.

	Cbeebies (2-7 years) This website can be used free, or, become a member and create an online profile.

	Club Penguin Can be used for free, but has a membership charge which makes it very secure and fully moderated.

	Grid Club Educational site for 5-12 years; annual subscription; moderated.

	Neopets Virtual pets (no age limit but aimed at the younger age group).
