eSafety sites aimed at Primary pupils

	BBC Chat Danger Guide for Primary Pupils ChatGuide brings you the best information on how to keep you and your family safe online.

	BBC Newsround Safe Surfing for Pupils Useful advice on how to stay safe when surfing the internet.

	Hector Protector Use this screen saver to teach young children a strategy for dealing with inappropriate content appearing on their computer screen. Hector swims in the top corner of the screen unless he is needed, then children will click on him and call and adult for help. Ask your technician to install it for KS1 pupils.

	Hector's World This site is designed for pupils aged 5-7 years old to teach them some basic internet safety rules. There are also teachers' resources and lesson plans to support the work.

	Internet Safety Quiz for Pupils 7-11 years A quiz to test an individual's knowledge on internet safety.

	ThinkUKnow Cybercafe (8-11 years) This 'Cafe' is aimed specifically at the 8-11 age group and includes and provides interactive resources to support pupils in online safety.
