BBC Guidance - ChatGuide - Key Stage 2 Teaching Pack
The Key Stage 2 Training Pack has been created with the assistance of the National Children's Charity and the Lucy Faithful Foundation which work in the field of child safety. The pack consists of a 9 minute video, presented by CBBC's Barney Harwood, and teachers' notes. The notes have suggestions for whole-class activities.
BBC Guidance - ChatGuide - Key Stage 3 Teaching Pack
The Key Stage 3 Teaching Pack has been created with the assistance of experts in the field of child safety. The pack consists of a 15 minute video (presented by Meera Syal), and notes for teachers. There's also a quiz on the video, plus an internet diary, which can be used as preparation. Suggestions for whole-class activities completes the material.

KidSMART is a practical internet safety programme website for parents and those who work with children. Produced by the children's internet charity Childnet International.
Know it All for Teachers
This website has been produced by Childnet International to help teachers understand and address eSafety issues within schools. On this site you will find: information about how young people are using the latest Information Communication Technology; important resources which are available to help you work with children on safety in the classroom; help with how eSafety and responsible use of the Internet and mobile phones can be used within the curriculum.
Know it All for Trainee Teachers
Know IT All for trainee teachers is aimed at trainee teachers entering the teaching profession to help them understand the e-safety issues for students. The website includes a short video overview of e-safety topics, as well as details about a resource which teacher training institutions can order and activities for use on placement.
National Strategies CPD for Teachers
This on-line resource enables ICT subject teachers and subject leaders to explore the technical implications of eSafety and to integrate this knowledge into their teaching of the renewed ICT curriculum. The course raises awareness of key issues of e-safety, including security, moral, ethical and legal aspects of Internet use and digital communications.

This site is provided for everyone to find the latest information on the sites you like to visit, mobiles and new technology. Find out what's good, what's not and what you can do about it. If you look after young people there's an area for you too - with resources you can use in the classroom, at home or just to get with it. Most importantly, there's also a place which anyone can use to report if they feel uncomfortable or worried about someone they are chatting to online.
Year 7: eSafety SoW
This is a five week Scheme of Work. Students learn about cyber bullying via text messages and the web. They also learn about how to keep themselves safe whilst online. Following some research and planning, students create an information advertisement using Windows Moviemaker.
Young People Safe Online - Teachers' Resources
This resource for teachers, parents and pupils has been created by Microsoft and MSN in conjunction, together with Childnet International, NSPCC, Childline and others. There are links to teaching resources, including presenter notes and lesson plans for the Know it All materials. There are also links to resources created for children and for parents.
