Enviro Charities
Get the true value of your old mobile phone that can be worth up to £180 and at the same time envirocharities will make a donation of £3.00 per handset to The Grace Project!
KIDS
KIDS Charity - Enabling disabled kids and their families to enjoy their lives. KIDS vision is a world in which all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations and their right to an inclusive community which supports them and their families.
Macmillan Cancer Support
Macmillan know it’s important that young people have access to information about cancer. By giving them information they want and need, they can help make sure they are able to cope when it affects them – whether they are diagnosed themselves, or if a friend or family member gets cancer. See how schools can get involved here!
RSPCA
RSPCA education website for teachers. Here you can find free online tried and tested curriculum-linked resources written by teachers. There are more than 90 different lesson ideas with teacher and pupil factsheets, pupil activity sheets and engaging photos and pictures.
Teachernet Website
Charity websites can provide a wealth of ideas, activities and challenges for the classroom and are often an under-used resource. Many of them can help promote pupils' understanding of social issues. TeacherNet's list of charities maps them against the National Curriculum, so you can be sure you're providing educational value while broadening your students' horizons.
The Dogs Trust - Learn with Dogs Website
There are lots of things to see and do if you're a teacher, young person or if you just want to find out more about Dogs Trust and how we help dogs in our care.
