Welcome to ipoint.  
ipoint lists abstracts of correspondence sent from the LA to schools and provides links to documents to enable school staff to download information, which is of particular relevance and interest.

It is hoped that this method of communication goes some way towards helping to ease the burden of bureaucracy placed on schools by reducing the number of e-mails schools receive.

Good News
We have created a new area on this site which aims to share information between schools about their achievements and successes.  This will replace the School Briefing.  If you have something to celebrate or share then let us know by emailing ipoint@wakefield.gov.uk

Weekly Mailings
Each week the LA posts a bulletin to this site which contains a list of correspondence to schools with a brief narrative about what it relates to. Symbols and colour icons denote the document type and the information category it belongs to (please see key below).

Within this area you will find the most recent bulletin along with weekly bulletins posted during the current academic year. See link below.

As it may be difficult to locate correspondence by date and it is often easier to locate by subject matter, you will also be able to browse through correspondence by information category.

Archive
Archive enables you to browse through correspondence from previous academic years and works on the same basis as "Weekly Mailings".  ipoint bulletins from the the past two academic years are available in Archived Years.
